John Schwaner is a business development, sales and operations professional with extensive experience in the senior living, post-acute care and ancillary programming business industries. He has partnered and led teams overseeing senior living and skilled rehab communities, home health and long-term acute care hospitals for more than 20 years. John has worked at the community, regional, divisional and corporate levels and has enjoyed noteworthy success with helping companies accelerate, achieve success regarding turnaround projects, as well as in creating programs to maximize revenue while increasing occupancy.
John served 5 years as Senior Vice President of Market Development for HealthPRO Heritage. HealthPRO is a national Therapy company that serves the senior living and skilled industry. Prior to HealthPRO John was the SVP Business Development and Marketing at Morning Pointe, where specialized in creating customized sales and marketing strategies for assisted living, Alzheimer’s care communities, as well as skilled nursing and healthcare continuums partnerships. Other industry positions John has held over his career was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at The Goodman Group. He joined that company from Brookdale Senior Living where he was Vice President. John held earlier VP level positions at American Retirement Corporation before that company’s merger with Brookdale Senior Living.
