Sam earned his Bachelor of Science from University of Phoenix in Healthcare Administration and his MBA from Western Governors University. He is a Registered Radiologic and Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
A proud Veteran of USAF, Sam did six tours supporting Operation Desert Storm. Sam has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership in operations: primary care, laboratory/radiology and supply chain management.
Sam most recently served as Director of Ancillary and Support Services at Norton Healthcare which included oversight of the medical groups supply chain, materials management, logistics, laboratory, and radiology functions. He was also instrumental to the organization’s response to COVID-19 by providing a quick response in setup and facilitation of pop-up testing and vaccine administration sites through Delta and Omicron spikes, ensuring laboratory PCR and antigen testing capabilities remained uninterrupted.
