Trent Blacketer joined Synchrony in 2013 and has held several key leadership roles within the organization. Starting as a consultant and operations pharmacist in Louisville, he transitioned to the Home Office in 2015 as Director of Business Analytics. In this role, he developed a multi-site purchasing strategy, established a data analytics department, and oversaw the launch of the Southern Indiana location. Trent later served as Executive Director of the Louisville business unit, managing operations during critical expansions, including the opening of the Indianapolis pharmacy. As Vice President of Administration, he was instrumental in leading the Synchrony Rx@HOME program and Synchrony Lab business line, while overseeing Long-Term Care Pharmacy Procurement, Regulatory, and Government Affairs.
Currently, Trent serves as Vice President of Operations Finance, where he leads financial operations for Synchrony Health Services, driving strategic initiatives and supporting business growth across all lines of service.
Trent is an active member of the Cardinal Health LTC Advisory Board and the MHA LTC Advisory Board. He also represents Synchrony Pharmacy as a board member on the Senior Care Pharmacy Coalition (SCPC) Board.
Before joining Synchrony, Trent completed an ASHP/AMCP-accredited managed care residency with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in Nashville, TN. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy and an MBA from the University of Kentucky.
