After struggling with low blood sugar, several falls, and a severe UTI, Cathy found herself unable to care for herself and heavily reliant on her family for support. Weak and discouraged, she felt confined to her bed, unable to enjoy the independence she once had. Her goal was simple yet significant: to walk on her own without the need for a walker.

Thanks to the knowledgeable and supportive therapists at Liberty Station, Cathy began to regain her strength and confidence. She achieved her goal of walking around her room without issue and even found herself ready to return home and stand while cooking. Cathy credits the friendly and encouraging atmosphere of the campus for helping her rebuild her confidence when she needed it most. Now, she is eager to reclaim her independence and embrace her freedom once again.
