When Robert Salatin first arrived at Saint Andrews Health Center, he faced the daunting challenge of recovering from a serious pelvis injury. His daily life had been disrupted, leaving him unable to walk independently or handle essential tasks like dressing and toileting. Despite these hurdles, Robert had a clear goal in mind: he wanted to return home and enjoy his favorite pastime of relaxing on the porch with a cold beer.
With the support of a dynamic team of therapists he fondly describes as “wild, but amazing,” Robert embarked on his rehabilitation journey. His determination and their expertise worked in tandem to achieve his goal. Now, Robert is heading back home, ready to once again savor the simple pleasures he missed so much. His successful recovery underscores the remarkable care he received at Saint Andrews and the vital role of his dedicated therapists in helping him regain his independence.
