One night, Betty got up to look out the window, but she accidentally fell as she turned to go back to bed. Unable to stand up, Betty crawled to the bathroom and yelled for help. Thankfully, assistance arrived promptly. Before this incident, Betty used to enjoy activities like arts and crafts, and she was generally independent, being able to walk independently with a walker when outdoors.

What were you not able to do when you came here?

I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t get dressed, I couldn’t move in and out of bed by myself. I needed help with everything.

What are you able to do after you received this therapy?

Betty was able to resume all my mobility independently. She also resumed her participation in the prayer chain at her church and is getting back into her crafts – knitting and cross-stitching.
