Before receiving assistance, Jean (age 95) was struck by a car. Her right lower leg had to be amputated and left leg was fractured ankle to knee. Every bone in her pelvis fractured, and a few broken ribs
She was unable to drive, which she was doing up until the time of her accident. As a passionate traveler, this changed her overall quality of life in many ways.
What were you unable to do when you came here?
I was unable to walk or live independently.
What are you able to do after you received this therapy?
I can walk with a rollator, as using a cane was something I was not comfortable with doing for fear of falling.
